Cool HI to anyone who remembers me. I was with 13TH engineers HHC. This was 1970-71.
I was assigned to S-3. Some of the guys names were, Joe Young, Tom Rose, Dave Palmer, Mark Wilber. Paul Lynn, and so on. New a lot of other guys but I can not remember all there names.
I had a Sargent Mark Hasenbery? Not sure of spelling. One thing I remember about him he was 19 and I was 23. He was a e-5 and I was a e-4. Shows what they thought of me.
I am running a web site for 13TH Engineers. http://www.13thengineerbn.com/ I hope former members of this unit look at it.
I want to thank Ken for all his research on Korea, He has done a excellent job. I will be putting a link to his web site from my web page. There is news about new dates to apply to the VA for Agent Orange Medical problems. It has been extended to August 1971.

My Name is Chuck McClure and I was located at Camp Casey 1963 – 1964. HHC 13th Engineers

My MOS 632.20 Track Vehicle Mechanic. PVT E2 3. June 63, 177th Repl Co APO 20 San Francisco, Calf. PVT E2 (July 26, 1963), Aboard the USNS GEN D F SULTAN HQ 38th Repl Bn APO 20 Korea. 4. Aug. 63, PFC E3. HHC 13th Engr. Bn. 7th Inf. APO7 Camp Casey, (Tong Du Chon), Korea. SP4 E4 left on a plane on 4. Aug 64.

Our barracks was at the bottom of the steps down from the EM & NCO Club. Work at the HHC Motor Pool where we had our M88 Tank Retriever all the rest of the Armor equipment was in the Line companies which was mainly AVLB (Bridge Tank). As a young kid, we had a lot of fun and made a lot of friends over the time. I remember walking guard duty around 3 am when our President (JFK) was killed. We also went on full scale alert for Vietnam but after a few days we stood down and only ship our mobile water point over there for a few weeks. Would love to hear from any of you that was there during this time frame, please let me know. I can remember a lot of names but have not been in touch with anyone except Stu Davis for a few years and then lost track of him. Last I heard from him, he was back in the same CO and was Master of Arms at the NCO Club at the top of the hill.
