    I was stationed at Camp Beard with A Company, 1967/68. 1st Platoon Leader, Company Maintenance Officer.
    I remember all too well rumbling up and down Jackass Pass. Didn't mind leaving that way, but coming back always scared the crap out of me. But then, my driver was a bit crazy and never slowed down. In fact, at times I believe he gassed it going down in. Just to hear me curse him out! lol
